Night to the sleepy heads.

That's the one Lisa. I laugh everytime. Heather looks like she spotted something to shoot......with a camera.

After feeling how heavy Jon's backpack was yesterday with a comparatively small size...holy backpack batman! I'm thinking that one would knock some of us right over!

oh that reminds me (being able to carry lots of things). We were at Ross's last night and found some really cute canvas messenger bags (that we bought for cheap) and brought home and put some padded compartments in from other bags and voila...super cute lightweight camera bags

I don't really have a bag just for walking around...everything is too heavy...so this works well for me.

LOVE the way the bags turned out and that is exactly the kind of set up I am looking for. I may be going to Ross tomorrow :)

I am watching Axe Men in the background. It is about loggers in Oregon, J.M. Browning and PIHL(?) logging companies have been shown. Makes me think of our resident dragon and family.

That is a great show, I loved every episode. My dad and uncle criticized it for accuracy, but Cory and Adam reminded them that they have not logged in well over 20 years and some things had changed

it all started when I was trying to figure out what size my manual focus lenses were (because I need filters)...then I thought...hey I'll line them up and macro them...then Dan put two bigger lenses on the tabe for intimidation purposes...then I brought out my big guns then he brought out his and then I brought out my cameras and then he brought out his and then I brought out my flashes and then he brought out his lensbaby...and the battle ensued. The lensbaby was the first to go down.

*mourns Lensbaby*

It never ceases to amaze me how Amikah is the exact color of the dirt at the unlake.

Great shots, Cat!

I took some shots today of a couple of the fur kids for lens examples for the MF thread.

https://photography-on-the.net …hp?p=7433141&postcount=56 It's not a comment thread...just so that people can see examples with mf lenses but...I thought they were cute and JIM!! There's a fully (DOF) in focus Kona shot on there

Great stuff!

I apologize for not MMqing lately. When I only have 5-10 minutes here or there to keep up, I see everything, I laugh, I say 'wow', I have all the proper reactions, but by the time I have the time to sit down and post, I've forgotten it all.

Remembery issues really can be bothersome *empathizes*

Make one up. Although I would never do it, I'm sure no one would notice.

Well, not in this story line maybe . . .

Yep. Downloading 3-400 shots now to audio accompaniment. (Diane's the only person who's seen it yet; Olympus LS-10 audio recorder - set it going and catch the narrative along eith the shutter releases - makes tagging photos later a vastly easier process.)

Cool I would love to see.

Yeah we have about an inch or so. I am getting ready to dispatch plowers now. It looks like it is going to be an eastern storm as far as the D.C. area is concerned, with higher totals toward the bay. They are saying D.C. is in for 5-9 now.
