Yeah we have about an inch or so. I am getting ready to dispatch plowers now. It looks like it is going to be an eastern storm as far as the D.C. area is concerned, with higher totals toward the bay. They are saying D.C. is in for 5-9 now.

Its very much looking like most of it will miss us. That stinks....kids will be bummed (although I'm ok with it!)

I apologize for not MMqing lately. When I only have 5-10 minutes here or there to keep up, I see everything, I laugh, I say 'wow', I have all the proper reactions, but by the time I have the time to sit down and post, I've forgotten it all.

There are times when I'll get on in the morning and then have to run errands. I've been known to leave the browser open all day just so I won't lose my multi-quote.

I think I mentioned how we moved Heather's desktop computer into my office so I'd have a machine to do routine stuff on if I needed it. Well, it was so slow that I wasn't using it. I finally decided to download and run Crap Cleaner today. I figured I had nothing to lose...

I cannot believe how much better the computer works after just one run-through with Crap Cleaner. It's almost like a brand new machine...

Besides getting rid of bloatware that comes with a store bought computer nothing will improve the performance better than a registry cleaner. Well that and shutting off all of the programs running in the background.

Really? I was looking at that a couple weeks ago and decided against it. My computer only gets bogged down with LR2 though.

THIS (external link) inside the monitor screen cleaner is real old, I first saw it ages ago, so I imagine you all have too. It still makes me smile though.

That was funny. I am glad I didn't see that while I was working.

MAGS!!!

Curt says its focusing ability and speed will be a good asset in low light.

More MAGS!!!Not herky jerky here, but no sound.

Thanks Cat. Curt and I were cracking up at this and the subsequent clips posted.

John/Heather nice boids and kitty.

And now I'm heading out with the others. Will see you all tomorrow.

Thank You Becky

Yes, but in Tibet, prayer flags are only allowed on top of large mountains.

Yes, but there is a loophole in the 14USC89a that states that spleens, if used for sporting events, can cross state lines. While this is open to some interpretation, as long as you have some equipment in the vehicle for Spleen Ball, the authorities shouldn't bother you too much.

Zane? Zane, listen to me. There are no spiders in your skull. You've been dunking your donuts in antifreeze again. We've talked about this before, remember?

Jenn, this is the Photography forum. You've got your forums mixed up again. The one you think you're on is the "I Kick Innocent and Defenseless Forest Creatures Forum".

Nice duck, thanks for sharing.

Didn't the Battle of Laxtank take place on the corner of 5th and Golden?

Oh, good. I was worried you left it in your glove box in the truck. What with the night temps going into the freezing level, I was concerned.

Is it the red hat gnome, or the green hat gnome? Cuz if it's the green hat gnome, that's just weird.

Wow, John, that's crazy. I had a friend that the twists once... his optic nerve became a Cheeto. Not the puff, but the crunchy kind.

It's how I party.

Nope. I have you on ignore.

He's an inspiration to us all, Cat. I completely understand.

Thanks for the great evening, Folks. I gotta get to bed.

Very Funny Dan

Good Day Folks

Did you get the pink pig one?
I chuckle whenever I am in the local BBQ store and see it. Somebody must be buying them.

DAN, your MMQ had me chuckling. You have a twisted mind....
....I like that in a guy.

Hiya cutie pie.

Then monkeys she should have.

There are probably many more people you are creeped out by mice, just sayin'

John did. Monkeys I got, along with kinkijou, and mountain lion avis now. Including shots of one of my favorite spider monkeys. (I don't mind toon mice either) The monkey in my new avi is Russell, who was given alcohol by his previous owner to keep him quiet. When we got him at the santuary, we figured he was about a year old. I was able to go in with him, and all he wanted to do was cuddle. Now he is about 3 years old, and becoming sexually mature, he is a bit of a handful and we can no longer go in with him, but I still play with him though the chain link.

g'morning.

aww that's cute, I didn't know they did that either

I didn't mean to be offensive (Heather! honestly) I was just explaining why Dan doesn't draw monkeys.

and yeah I know. You made your point.

nice shot!

No Problem. I was talking to John.

For those missing spring and/or about to get dumped on by snow, I would like to report the Daffodils and Resurrection Lilies have pushed their shoots above gr
ound.

I had a pleasant suprise this morning also by a plant I bring in doors every winter. This $0.99 plant I bought probably 12 - 15 years ago:

And Permie, outside my kitchen window this morning:
The male came by also but only for a second, no time to get a shot.

Pretty flowers and Birds.

Hi everyone....snowing here, should get 3" before 9pm, then 15"+ from then till monday at about 5pm....fun times ahead!!

Not good when you get sun directly at you, but nothing I could about that!!

Liberty & Ellis Island:

Nice Statue of Liberty shots Harm.

Permagrin wrote in post #7432734 (external link)
it all started when I was trying to figure out what size my manual focus lenses were (because I need filters)...then I thought...hey I'll line them up and macro them...then Dan put two bigger lenses on the tabe for intimidation purposes...then I brought out my big guns then he brought out his and then I brought out my cameras and then he brought out his and then I brought out my flashes and then he brought out his lensbaby...and the battle ensued. The lensbaby was the first to go down.

Nice Army. Sorry the lens baby lost it's life.

cfpackerfan wrote in post #7432983 (external link)
And a size comparison between her and Amikah. She is more than half Amikah's height, but I bet she weighs about a 1/3 of what Amikah does.

aww cute shots Cat. Shawnee looks like a handful!

I took some shots today of a couple of the fur kids for lens examples for the MF thread.

https://photography-on-the.net …hp?p=7433141&postcount=56 It's not a comment thread...just so that people can see examples with mf lenses but...I thought they were cute and JIM!! There's a fully (DOF) in focus Kona shot on there

Nice furkid photos Lisa. I love the one of Kona laying on the floor.
