Let us know if you are ever in this neck of the woods and maybe we can get together. I want the animal keeper job too. Right now I am a people keeper, but even that has its benefits.

Thanks Jon

Thanks Becky. Kastan is a well loved cat, and hopefully he will be around for a long time. Congrats to Curt on the new camera.

Nice, I wish I could get a monkey avi...

Good Luck. There is a reason I don't give shower parties, last one was when my sister got married (1990).

Mark, Hope things get better with your Mom. Would a home health care worker be a possibility?

Thanks Heather - and everyone else who has sent their thoughts for Mum. We do have a care worker coming in morning, midday and evening to help, for about half an hour a time. I think we're going to have to pay everything towards this as the healthcare people are saying Mum should be put in a care home... :( We're trying to do all we can to prevent that as we think she's improving a bit and we can get her able to move around safely etc.

I apologize for not MMqing lately. When I only have 5-10 minutes here or there to keep up, I see everything, I laugh, I say 'wow', I have all the proper reactions, but by the time I have the time to sit down and post, I've forgotten it all.

Cat (and John - I saw your comment about keeping the browser open) I think both of you use Firefox... if you have two or more tabs open when you try to close firefox, it asks if you want to save the tabs. Provided one of those tabs is on POTN, if you save the tabs, it saves your quotes as well.

Happy birthday Jamie...!! Hope you have a good day.

What I was up to at the weekend. On a friend's stag weekend, playing wargames.

Check out this guy!!!! LINKY (external link) Saw him on GMA this morning... Here's a link to his site... but I couldn't get it to load... LINKY (external link)

Clark Little? I think the exposure crashed his poor server. I liked the one with the sand being sucked up into the wave....nice colors.

It is quite slow for me, it takes about 15 secs to load.

His site loaded for me, but is excruciatingly slow. All other sites are popping up quick.

I think it did too... I finally got it to load for me. The interview on GMA was funny. He talked about getting beat up by the waves he was taking pictures of... "take a big deep breath and go flying on to the beach." I've done that many times myself hehehehe I love the ocean! He said the sand being sucked up into the wave was a big one, it was one of the ones they showed on GMA.

I think everyone under the sun who was watching GMA went and searched for his site! Very cool pictures!

Now, now... Nothing wrong with the dark side. Permie joined the dark side, and she's just fine. Of course she's now wearing a black cape, and calling herself noink sith, but other than that, she's OK.
