You are lucky you are so close to the water, tat is what's saving you. Even tho we aren't that far we are at the top of a large hill/cliff which tends to make clouds dump all they've got on us before heading over the water.

Well that did not work for Chicago this weekend. Those close to the lake had a snow falling pretty much all weekend. Several inches from what I hear. Those living farther, like me, had beautiful sunshine all weekend long. Driving in this morning was pretty strange. I left the house and all was brown, but no snow and the sky a bright blue. I crossed one main street and almost within blocks it turned into a snow storm with several inches on the ground, people shoveling, clouds and snow showers.

No, it just made a stark, uninviting room a stark, cold uninviting room.

Aren't bathrooms suppose to be cold and uninviting?

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Are your students good cooks?

We'll see.

Have you taught them to make a good Paella yet? Looooove that stuff.

No. Saffron is a little too expensive to use in Spanish class. Plus, they have no desire to eat it.

A sad attempt at taking a flower shot like Deb. I didn't use tubes though. Was just with the 100macro.

To an extent, yes... But not THAT cold and uninviting.

We had guests over on the weekend, too. One of them went to the bathroom, and I apologized in advance for the clinical look. She turned on the first set of lights and made some sort of sound. I told my wife "No... not that part.. just wait ..." our friend laughed when she turned on the newly installed bulb.

I went back and forth on cloning it. But, it's his toe.

But it is a bit distracting . . .

Both games....and oh goodness, I didn't even think about the stupid comments that the recorder may have picked up....eeks. Promise not to post those, purdy please?

Wasn't planning to. Unfortunately, where it was, it also got the benefit of my sister's phone calls while they were announcing the first lot of Norwegian Fjord Horses, so I had to really weed through the clutter to catch that. Gotta work on the best placement for it.

FuryMe wrote in post #7435000 (external link)
Do they use horses in water polo too?

BearLeeAlive wrote in post #7435041 (external link)
Seahorses

That.

I sure hope no one in the stands took a spleen to the head.

DoodleBunz wrote in post #7435038 (external link)
Nope, all was good....they were pretty careful. One dude fell off though!

ISTR it went into the stands at least once . . . Hope the people who threw it back had clean hands :{)#

Cool I would love to see.

I'll try to post some shots once I get them. It's the one Bob Krist talked about in Pop. Photo a while ago. Does very good stereo and takes an external mike as well.

Still downloading.

Diane - Stallion Ave. Parade sequence:
Paso Fino (IIRC; I didn't start recording until the next go-round; looks like them though)
Fell Pony

Rocky Mountain
Miniature Horse
::Caroline Rider::
Just getting to the Parade of Breeds.
