Oddly enough, Tiff...When I worked in Northern Ireland, I had many trips down to the Republic of Ireland. One time at a visit in Dublin, there were lots of stag / hen parties going on...on such hen party was clearly a dress-up party...I think the two costumes that stood out above the others was one that was dressed up as a split condom, and the other was someone dressed up as a used tampon....go figure!

Finished up the one card I have here; other one's still in the camera.

Horse World Expo shots

Evidently Wool is involved in the horse world as well; who else would have suggested his very favourite tune as the background music for this breed's appearance?

Bobert - you'd better see a doctor - that looks a trifle enlarged.

leaves the Swiss dude out in the middle of nowhere, w/o chocolate...

 *faint*

Noooooooooooo.......

[Solemn voice]

I love all pictures taken by a Nikon. They look so much better than those taken by Canon (less noisy, much better IQ, much better composition - yes, this is due to the camera, not the photographer :p - just plain better)!

[/solemn voice]

Can I have my chocolate now?

A sad attempt at taking a flower shot like Deb. I didn't use tubes though. Was just with the 100macro.

Why's that sad? I think its a lovely shot!

But it is a bit distracting . . .

Wasn't planning to. Unfortunately, where it was, it also got the benefit of my sister's phone calls while they were announcing the first lot of Norwegian Fjord Horses, so I had to really weed through the clutter to catch that. Gotta work on the best placement for it.

LOL! Sounds like it picked up lots of goodies!

ISTR it went into the stands at least once . . . Hope the people who threw it back had clean hands :{)#

Hmm, I missed that!

Diane - Stallion Ave. Parade sequence:
Paso Fino (IIRC; I didn't start recording until the next go-round; looks like them though)
Fell Pony
Norwegian Fjord (Glick Farm Fjords)
Halflinger
Quarter Horse
Norw. Fjord (different farm)
Thoroughbred
Rocky Mountain
Miniature Horse
::Caroline Rider::
Just getting to the Parade of Breeds.

Wonderful, THANK YOU!

The mountain lion is in a long cage that is about 30 ft and 7 feet wide. He likes to "Stalk" us as we walk back and forth, so I will usually start running up and down the cage and he runs after us. We also will give him different large melons (or pumpkins) that he plays soccer with. We also watch the amount of food that he consumes so he stays lean.

Gotcha! Kind of sounds like fun. Is he reasonably "tame" as far as wild critters go?
