That is correct. Coral snakes are the most verminous snakes we have in this country. They are not very dangerous given they don't use fangs to inject venom. They hold their prey and move their jaw about, essentially dripping venom in the wound.

At least I learned something in school at some point.

I'm so frustrated. I bought a lens off of ebay 8 days ago. From a seller who's got 100% feedback and been a member longer than me. I've heard NOTHING from them. No shipping info, nothing. And haven't received the lens (though they are only shipping from colorado) either. Sigh. I want this lens before this weekend.

Got some good news yesterday. The wife got an email from the Westie Rescue group. Had a phone interview yesterday and she's coming down to the house on Saturday to check things out. I'm sure all will go well so we should be able to get a dog in a little over a month. We're going on vacation to Mexico in March so right after we get back we should be all set to get him. It's a 3 year old male. Sounds like the only issue he has is a bad hip, which is being operated on this week and paid for by the rescue group.

We're both super excited!

Dan's aunt is in surgery. 2 valve replacements, 1 valve repair and 2 bypass happening. They've given her a 50-50 chance of making it through the surgery.

I take it this is all very sudden? My prayers and thoughts are with you and family.

Hi All, back from Pittsburgh about midnight last night....made it safely and had a wonderful time while there...my friend made it so comfortable for us, it was nearly like a second home. The science center was a blast, totally hands on for the kids and fun photo ops for Mommy....it was FUN!!! Glad to be able to rest this morning though after getting Blondie off to school...the kids wore us OUT!

Okay, for what it is worth, I understand the male pshyc much better than the female. Boys/men are very driven by basic stuff. Eat, sleep, be merry. Anything else is overload. Boyz/men don't NEED to go deep, Deb. Enjoy them for what they are. I love 'em myself. They remind me that simple is always best. This is in no way meant as a derogatory statement, but to point out the basic difference betwixt us. Girls think to hard. Period.

And their mouth is not even big enough to bite a human unless it just so happens to be a spot like the skin between fingers or toes....so I was told by the folks at the Snake Farm park.
