Here ya go, Jim: LINKY (external link) (It was mentioned next door in RRTP...)

Thanks Lonnie.

The poisonous snake thing is overblown in this country. !2-15 people die a year and almost all of them are messing with the snakes when they get bit.

It is the same with bears, coyotes, spiders, etc. For some reason many of these species have suffered an evil reputation for little reason.

We should really fear cars, deranged spouses, chemicals, etc, much more then any animal species.

short5 wrote in post #7352747 (external link)
That is correct. Coral snakes are the most verminous snakes we have in this country. They are not very dangerous given they don't use fangs to inject venom. They hold their prey and move their jaw about, essentially dripping venom in the wound.

I know little about Coral Snakes, though was aware that they were the most poisonous in North America. That is a neat fact about how they dispense their venom.

Permagrin wrote in post #7352784 (external link)
it is a quote Lonnie, from Hamlet. He wanted to die because of his torment.

I'm misusing it...lamenting over being fat.

One should not lament to much over fat, though I know we all do it, myself included. One should be more focused on overall physical and mental health.

You're right, I sit corrected...the coral snake doesn't have a triangular head....I wouldn't mess with anything banded black/red/yellow because I can never remember which combination would "kill a fellow"

I always said "red on black means venom lack, red on yellow is a nasty fellow"
