There have been more and more reports of bald eagles making they're way thru upstate NY, so I took my lunch hour to make a run.

I had just about giving up when way up in the sky I saw some sort of bird of prey. I zoomed in the best I could but still couldn't tell what it was. Off I went down the road to try and catch up/get a head of it. Finally I got close enough to whip off a few quick shots.

I'm thinking a immature bald eagle.....

Sure, not as close as others I have seen on this site, but my first capture and in my hometown to boot - so I'm happy!
