Doc, what happened to the Thigh Master you've been using for the past several years? Break it?

Nope, still my old standby.

Mark, you kill me!

Oh, it's true. I know so many people in the same spot. I order stuff all the time and I know I ask what the company's policy is for back-orders, etc. I have a battery back-ordered from Adorama, which hasn't been billed to me yet. I only deal with company's like that. But I am sure you are right, the equipment is in a warehouse somewhere and you should be getting that instead of the money.

I might be wrong here, it has been awhile since I talked to someone about it...

A debit card does not give you the buyer protection a Visa card does - BUT, that is for transactions ran as a debit (PIN) transaction. If your debit card carries a Visa logo and you run a pin-less transaction then it is run as a credit card over Visa's credit card processing network. There are two separate networks - a debit and a credit. If your card has a Visa logo, call Visa for your claim, not the bank. It is Visa that backs the purchases run through the credit network and your bank does the debit....

I was an auditor for VISA debit card claims and I can confirm that when run as credit they do offer the same protections.

My bank ditched mastercard before I started working there so I cant comment on mastercards rules. So this is my personal opinion, call back and try to talk to another rep. They HAVE to investigate your claim, they may still have chargeback rights based on the expected date of delivery not the date of the transactions. (thats how it is with visa, well the last i knew i havent worked with these claims for 4 years now).
