I've been having some problems with my auto mode. when i change the dial to auto, the aperture and shutter options come on, as if i were in manual. this just started happening. anyone know how i can fix this?

So you can adjust both aperture and shutter?
Any problems in other modes? Program mode is quite similar to full auto. I don't know what kind of switch they use, but it's possible there's a problem with the contacts, and it's misreading the orientation of the dial. If that's the case, and you're still under the 1 year warranty, sending it in might be best, even if you have to be without the camera for a while.
