my second attempt at panning today. overall i'm quite happy. i shot more photos this time and played with settings more to see what worked best for me. i flicked between TV and AV mode throughout the day and (in the right light) i seemed to get better results from AV.

C&C welcomed, please feel free to edit photos as i'm learning Photoshop aswell so some Post-processing has taken place (mostly just auto levels though)

thanks

Andrew

I doubt whether you're in Tv or Av mode has got anything to do with how good your end results were if you were taking shots like the ones you've posted above. Side on pan shots are all about technique, not whether you were in Tv or Av mode.

I would have thought TV mode would be better because your then in control of the shutter speed. Some good stuff. Of the bunch I probably like the cropped Porsche most since the car has some room to go into (rather than being bang middle of the frame). Good effort.

The panning shots look ok, I'd try upping the exposure on them as a lot of these seem underexposed to me.
