So im walking around Heathrow terminal 5 today and decided to pop into Dixons (Electronic retailer) to have a look at their small Canon lense selection.

I couldn't believe my eyes when after picking up a display 5D, i found the screen was cracked and flickering heavily, the 24-105 lens fitted to it was busted and had some form of floating eye in the centre!

Then turning to my left i found a 70-200 L lens in 2 pieces!!

Whats going on in the world?!

I mentioned it to one of the sales guys and said 'Look if your willing to just chuck these items out, maybe you should give any new ones to me before putting them on display! At least they would be appreciated :D

7D, 17-55, 10-22, 70-200 f2.8 LIS, 580ex + long shopping list of canon goodies! :)

That "floating eye at the center" sounds like the person who broke the gear left part of his/her soul behind:)!

What combination of gear, if you saw it as a broken-down demo, would bring the most "tears to your eyes" response? That's how I thought of this post.

For me, maybe the 5D Classic and the 85L...
