I went to San Francisco for three weeks and had my G1 with me. You know the result... over thousand pictures. Here is a collection of my favourite shots:

Feedback, advice, critique and comments greatly appreciated as I'm constantly trying to learn to take better pictures. Thanks :-)

Thanks! :-)

The night shots in the gallery are actually quick snapshots, taken using P mode, 1 sec exp time and f2.0.

I had two tripods with me: a Manfrotto (mostly staying at the hotel room because it's so big) and small tabletop (mostly at the bottom of my bag because I forget it's there).

These night shots were taken using some kind of flat surface as a stand (newspaper vending machine, trashcan etc).

I have a question. What did you use for storage while you were away? Do you just have a lot of compact flash cards, or a couple big ones?

I had a laptop computer with me :-) My in-camera storage is 128MB memory card which is quite enough for one day.

Hello Sami, nice pictures and your panos are nice but we see where the photos were stitched together: there is a band (~5mm) clearly visible.

BTW: maybe describe in english too (or french, he he!); it will take me too much time to learn your language. ;)
