I am planning on buying a pair of skyports. I know there are other options which may or may not be better, but for my purposes I feel skyports offer good value for money. My questions are what exactly do I need to buy to have them work with my cameras and a 580 flash. I was going to buy the universal kit, is there anything I need as well.

If so Id love a link, and if at all possible Australian links would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance
Adam

Ps. I know how to use the search option but I was after more specific information =]

Adam,

Kayell sell the Skyports in Australia, as they do with the rest of the Elinchrom line. My best advice would be to ring them. Universal Skyports will work with your 580 in manual mode, but ring Kayell and ask. All you should need is a sync cord with the right connection to your 580EX II.

Their phone number is (02) 9439 9377. Ask for Suresh, and tell him Rudi sent you. :)

No problem! He's always done right by me, it's only right that I recommend him to others. :)
