From the Chicago Auto show 2009

Good show overall. Without a doubt noticed the decreased size of the displays and cars available. Mercedes had a nice section, Subaru had a halfway decent display. VW had a really nice one too. Not surprising though given the economy.

50mm 1.4 USM

Wow... awesome!

Any tips for the auto show you can give? I'm going to the NY in April, haven't shot an auto show with my XTi yet

but sweet shots! Love the challenger! :)

Whoa.. didn't notice the concept corvette..Yuck. They better not stick the Stingray nametag on something that ugly.. lol

The only tips I can give you would be to be patient and don't get discouraged if people walk in your shot, you can usually work with it. Stay planted until you're ready. usually people see someone crouched down for a long period of time, and they stay away. haha

As for lighting, fire off a few tests first, find what you like and go with it.

:)

awesome shots all around, but the Stingray centennial is just plain sick! I'll bet you made it look better than it will in a single shot of Transformers 2.

Love what you did with these. The challenger looks like a tilt/shift. I like it alot. Get any close ups of the stingray emblem? I'm still waiting on a good shot. They didn't have those at the Detroit show  Please share more!!
