Nice pictures there. I've had a relative who had his own pond of Koi's. They are such awesome fish. :)

Jack, when you mentioned your relative's koi pond I realized that all my friends who have koi ponds have to have them covered with wire mesh because of the herons (and what not). The fountains at the mission are not covered. What's their secret? Maybe the size of these fish, they're HUGE.

He had like a gazebo like area for them. Plus, He's located in the 626 area of Los Angeles so we dont' get Heron's or anything. His are pretty huge as well. He feeds them alot but I don't know how many times he feeds them a day.
