Get a load of this: Lexar Rebate

A few months back Lexar was running an $80 Rebate offer on their 300x CF cards yet turned out they made a mistake in posting it and quickly removed in place of the $40 rebate. Well when I purchased mine from Adorama it came with the $80 rebate offer. So I quickly sent it in but noticed it was only accepted for the $40 offer. So I called and spoke with a supervisor at the Rebate Center and was told since the original was done in error they were instructed by Lexar to only pay $40 on the offer. So wasn't much I could do from there, which I promptly received My $40 check.

Well low and behold I get an email today telling me to expect another $40 check in 15 days for the remaining $40 on the original $80 rebate offer sent in.

Kudos to them for going back an honoring their mess up.

i'm waiting on 3 $80 rebates...i surely hope i get the full $80 - that's the only reason i bought 3!

lucky you I purchased some of them at circuit city expecting to get the rebates, once I went to fill out the forms I realized the numbers were not applicable !!!

I was royally ticked off but I already had opened both of them

I got my $80 rebate a couple of weeks ago.

where these for the 300x card rebate that got pulled.

yes it was 300x 4gb - $70 rebate. i made 1 buck after all

Whoo hoo. I got 2 $80 checks from Lexar for the rebate on 2 8gb 133x cards. They ended up costing about $9 each. Weird. Got one check on Thursday and one today.

Darn! i missed this I could use a second or third memory card..

Ah well
