Thanks, all. This was the most fun I've had with a camera. It's so much easier than chasing a toddler or trying to make them smile!
I used 3 different lenses. 50mm f.14, 35 f2, and the 100mm macro.

These are fantastic!
Do you have any tips or insight to share? I am planning a newborn shoot soon as well. Were these at the baby's home? Did you bring a backdrop? Lights?
This was at the baby's home. I brought a LOT of stuff. Backdrop stand and paper... I brought 2 colors but only used beige. Beanbag, lots of fabric and blankets. Black knit for the black backdrop shots. For most of the session I bounced my flash off camera. For the ones on black, most of which I couldn't show, I set up my AB800 and giant softbox.

Amazing work! What kind of PP did you do on these?
Standard adjustments. Selective brightening, levels, curves, curves for color adjustments, a little selective color, more contrast if needed. A bit of skin smoothing. The one on black required a lot of masking and burning... the others I let more natural.
