Andrea, beautiful series - lovely skin tones.
I agree, there is something very special about photographing newborns, and at least they don't run off or look the other way :D

Very nice work, and a good variety of shots there. Just for laughs, I wonder how many "accidents" you had with the naked baby? I tried shooting my 3 week old daughter last night, and about 5 shots into it, she wet the blanket we had her on (and herself). So, that ended the shoot, and off to the bath she went.

My white fur was the only casualty. I know it's normal and expected, so I brought tons of extra blankets and fabric to be sure I could swap them out if I needed them. I think most people just swap out and wipe up the baby and move on the best they can since it's just for a short time.

Just a hint: To help with "accidents" use a plastic garbage bag under your fabric so nothing gets seriously damaged - like Mom & Dad's pillows. When you are done throw any soiled fabric in the bag for laundry.
