WRC Rally Norway

Just about managed to warm the fingers enough to process a few images from an incredibly cold event. The temperature at Shakedown was -26 ... so cold that the zoom froze on the 70-200 and I had to scrape the ice out of the viewfinder on the MKIII between each car!

All in all a brilliant event ...

Great capture, i like a lot 5 and 7. How you can find all places with only norweigian flags?
I could imagine what is photography in -26 i am not worried about things, only my feet and fingers
It is great to have again one "real" winter rally in wrc calendar.

Cracking set as always Jay and it looks like it's a place i'll have to fit in sometime. A good mix of "Jay" shots showing something different. Would also like to see some closer, rear quarter panel bashing snow bank shots if you have some

Very nice photos, I like them all. I must admit that snow rallies look very picturesque from the middle of a southern hemisphere summer, but I'm not sure I'd like to be out there taking photos in -26C!
