Just three tonight...I uploaded 61 "acceptable" pictures to the newspaper's server; here are three of the better ones.

All my best shots are of the same #15 guy...like, even in previous games. I don't know what I'll do when he graduates....

The lens is behaving now, which is really really nice. A couple are wildly out of focus, but I think that's more my fault than it is the camera's.

f/2.2, 1/500, ISO1600, or maybe 1/400 and ISO800...don't remember when I switched...

Rebel XT. 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6. 85mm f/1.8. Lensbaby 2.0.
Currently borrowing 7D, 50mm f/1.8, 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 Macro IS, Sigma 70-300 f/4.5-5.6.
I have a 220EX around somewhere....heh.

Those ARE good! Nice job. I always like to see the angle at which others shoot basketball games. Using the 85mm as well. It's too tight straight behind the basket so setting up shop at the corner of the basline and sideline seems to be working a bit better these days.

Not sure if you used flash, but those are really bright, well-lit pics.

I usually sit against the wall at like a 30ยบ angle to the basket...but last night there were TWO other togs instead of just one, and I was having to shoot between them. I ended up right behind them kneeling...heh. The 85mm really is tight -- you have to frame JUST RIGHT or else your subject's gone.

Nope, no flash -- our gym is just lit fantastically...I think the white uniforms help too.
