Has anyone else ever gotten contact requests like this?.....I received this contact through a form on my site yesterday. My first impression was it's just another photog being nosey and trying to gather info for themselves....for what gain I don't know...it just seems odd that if it were a parent inquiring that this wouldn't be at the forefront of their concerns.

The crux of what they wanted is about Senior Photography, here it is:

"I thought that you printed at Mpix. Previously, I thought that I had read that but today I could not find if you printed at Mpix, Whcc or even Wal-mart. If we were to have a senior session done I was wondering about the actual printing. Can you tell me more. Thanks. (Sorry, I thought at one time I saw Mpix .... today I found no referral to where the actual printing is done or on what type of printer/printer paper etc.)"

In fact....if they were on my site looking around they would have easilly seen that I do use the Mpix Lab...so....just out of curiosity I did a lookup on the origin IP address and it turns out that it was sent not far from my location. I replied to the return email address provided and as expected, it was kicked back because it was a bogus email address...I'm amused and flattered at the same time!

I've gotten some weird ones in my day, usually bad e-mails or they fill out the form on my site with no email. However, they've all come from out of state which is weird.
