Soo I've decided that it's time to rebrand myself a bit. The opinion that my food and product portfolios are vastly better than my automotive portfolio seems to be of the majority. I'd hate to say it, but Kentucky when contrasted to out west is much harder to make any substantial amount of income as an automotive photographer because of the minimal number of magazine worthy cars. That being said, I think it is in my best interests to market myself more as a food/product photographer. I will still pursue cars, but I will present myself as a commercial product photographer.

I wanted my site to be really clean and I wanted my pictures to scream at you. The maximum size of the pictures is going to be around 1200px wide and it should scale smaller for those with smaller resolution monitors. Here are some sample layouts Ive made in photoshop. It will likely be html with embedded custom flash.

Very fresh design. I like the first page a lot.

One thing that bothers me is that on front page you start with "ENTER FULLSCREEN" "OPEN IN SAME WINDOW" which are IHMO just telling visitor you did not bother to design the site to scale to visitor's browser window, visitor must make the technical choice instead. I don't see anything in your design that would not adjust well horizontally if written so.

Very strong contemporary design, though I'm curious for the reason behind the flash? Much of the design you have here lends itself reasonably well for a pure HTML/CSS site. The only aspect that would cause problems would be the reflection, though I have seen recently some good dHTML solutions that resolve this.

Also lose the intro screen as you're going to lose people that way. People want to know what a sites about. Usability studies have proven this, so have a content page with a short spiel on who you are.
