Now I have to wait for market to go up so price of lense will go down. 5D, XSI, 35L , [COLOR=black]85L, 24-70L, 85, Σ 50.

Feb 20, 2009 12:30 | #3 Don't know about you guys in the US but over here, CANON prices took a massive hike upwards around three weeks ago. As an example, the 300mm f/2.8 L IS went up from £3000 to £3750 during a single day on one UK dealer's website. Everything else CANON has also gone sky high recently - don't know whether that was a Euro-economic / currency thing, manufacturers annual price rise or both.

Yes, this makes sense...but what I don't understand is why isn't the same for other electronic goods from Japan - like lcd's and blu-ray players, etc? They have not risen, as far as I know.
