These are a few images from last year.
Portwey is, I beleive, the last steam powered twin screw tug in the northern hemisphere. It is now run and maintained by volunteers, who have set up a charitable trust and it is berthed at West India Quay to the east of London. It can, from time to time, be seen cruising up and down the River Thames.
Relatives of a friend of mine work the engine room on some of it's outings and these pictures show them and the tug ariving at Grenwich Pier during the Thames Festival in September 2008.
