The few times I've watched the "Edge" show, he blathered on and on about environmental issues, (non-photographic) comments about the subject he was shooting, the politics of the country he was in, etc., but spent very little to no time whatsoever talking about anything to do with photography. I don't watch the show any more. I found that watching it with the hope of learning something useful about photography was a waste of time.
