Those Kimbers are very nice! Congrats on the purchase. Do you find the weight a little heavy for concealing though? I wanted to conceal this, but it seems I may have to get somethign smaller...

I don't have any issues. Then again, I'm a pretty big guy. I wear a lot of untucked shirts to cover it up. I used to carry my HK 9mm USP full-size concealed all the time. I have to be a little more creative in the summer when I wear shorts, but I make due.

I highly doubt a different background would have changed the blowing out of the mags. Only changing the exposure would be able to do that. Well let's wait to see what Justin says.

With a different background, his exposure would have been different as well as he wouldn't have been trying to get the whites blown out. I'm sorry I didn't explain it well enough for you.

timbernet, do you plan on getting the new (M) or the other model? Seems like the older model comes in many different sizes, such as compact. The M doesn't, but it as some additional features. Either way, you will be a happy camper ;)

Nice pics. I think #2 would be better with a little more DOF to get the emblem all in focus.

I didn't realize Springfield manufactured in Croatia.

i agree, but i would go as far as getting the actual bullet in focus as well

30D & 28-135 kit lens, 50mm F/1.8 MKII, monopod, tipod w/pan tilt head, 430EX w/ sto-fen omni bounce,

On the brown truck, due 10/26 ... 70-200 2.8L IS :D

now that's going to require a higher Fstop, and wider angle! :) Im just a shallow person, shallow DOF person that is ;) But thanks for the advice. When I get around to shooting it again, I will definitely try a few @ F16 or something like that. I know REAL product shots genereally are in a whole, Sharp. Not the fall off such as I do. Thanks for the feedback.
