Very nice. I'd be interested in seeing (reading about) your setup. lightbox?

I've got a 50D on order. I took this with my P&S Canon S5 IS.

nice Glock 686! Friend of mine picked up one at a gun show. feels like a nice gun.

For my setup, All I did was a hot light in a soft box, camera on tripod, posterboard for background. I was moving the light all around till I got the desired effect. Hot lights are a pain in the butt!

You got a great shot here in my opinion, nice soft shadows, and overall, SHARP. Can't wait to see more when you get the 50D

Nice shots of your... uh... shooter.

That is exactly what I am looking for in a way for a gun. These shots are a good advertisement for this particular piece. Great job!

Nice gun Bronx! I thought about getting one of the two tone guns. I noticed sig has nice two tone stuff, but then I remembered I better get a GOOD gun over the appearance, though I am happy with the way mine looks :)

Kajuah, guns are completely outlawed up there, or are they just really restricted?

Thrash, thanks, I never had any regrets about my purchase :) I do love the additional features that SA offers.

Speedster, competitive shooting! Sounds interesting! I wish there was somewhere outdoors I could shoot for free, I would love to line up some targets, and go for timing and accuracy. Beat the range any day!

Thanks. I love it, no matter what ammo I put in her, she always goes bang. Cant beat em. Though I have been eyeing the Sig P226 in 9mm, but Ive heard mixed reviews.

I too have been hearing horror stories of current production from them, mostly though the polymer models (P250). Look into getting a used P226, or one of the reconditioned ones offered from Sig. I have one and love it, great shooter. I had Sig do a rebuild and action job, also added a Bar-Sto barrel and wow!!! :D

I have one XD (XD40SC) but no real photos of it. I do however have the XD's older brother, the HS2000, imported to the states by "IM Metal" (all pre Springfield era, though Springfield still warranties them!)

Here ya go, propped up against my M4gery.. Gun has been re-finished with Birdsong's Black-T coating, which I might add is AWESOME stuff! Gun also has Trigicon Novak style night sights.
