It took me a while to get a couple of extra batteries. I was talking with Canon CPS tech's and they admitted that the hardest Canon item to find right now is the 5DmkII batteries. My Gear: Doesn't Matter, but I have more than my fair share of it.

Just ordered one for $85 shipped! Said they were going quick... This is so frustrating. I have my camera for 9 weeks and can't get a battery. I "registered" on every legit camera website to be notified when they come in stock, including b&h, and obviously no confirming emails are being sent. The only places that have them are getting at least $129 and I just bit the bullet and ordered one at that overprice because I need a backup battery to shoot the Sebring 12 Hours ALMS in a couple of weeks. Absolutely incredible..... http://photography.robertondrovic.com
