I don't shoot a lot of Landscapes, or at least I try not to. But living in NZ that is pretty hard, if not impossible thing to do, so I simply try not to process them.

But they always have a way of finding thier way to the surface.

These are taken at Whatipu, which is a surprisingly remote location being so close to NZ's largest city: http://maps.google.com ….075985,0.103168&t=h&z=14 (external link)

Same thing, different perspective:

And a different perspetive again, not an easy hill to climb this one.
That is Weka2000 standing up, and NZShrimper pretending he is not afraid of heights.

Feel free to C&C

great bay for fishing also,

the first one looks like it could be a New Zealand Christmas Placemat...great shot i love the haze (from the ocean)

My personal fav. is the second to last with the sun...just something apealing to me

nice work

Cheers, it is, like so many other great fishing spots on the west coast, also very dangerous.
I couldn't believe the amount of water moving past the headland as the tide went out.

Next step is to take a model out there, but my current car is not well suited to gravel roads.

We are talking seriously about making a trip there next January. Everytime I see NZ photos, I feel more certain we will do it!

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

That's very nice of you! We have had a couple of invites from forum members so it would certainly be fun to meet everyone and have a tour guide for the best photography:)

Well the Kiwi members are all pretty well spread around the country.

You could spend the first part of the trip being passed from Kiwi to Kiwi, and given a tour of all the best places, then take sometime to enjoy the country on your own.
