where can a buy the actual V2 flash triggers in the UK?

all the ones on ebay are from the mass hong kong sellers and i cant tell if theyre the good ones of not!


also
im llooking for a bracket that will hold my flash unit in this position

There are no good ones, and they all come from the same place AFAIK.

Why would you want your flash in that position?

Then you'd want the flash to sit to the left of the camera wouldn't you? Why have a bracket to put it where it sits naturally when on the hotshoe?

Do a search on POTN for "DIY Flash Bracket" you should find something you like.

You might think you want a bracket that does that, but you don't. You want the flash directly above the lens, with the same orientation so the flash covers the area the sensor sees. Get a normal flash bracket, there are plenty of threads on them.

I think you are confused with the orientation of the actual flash itself, it is still where the flash would normally sit. Look at the hotshoe. As Tim says you want it above the lens, so in portrait orientation that would be to the left or right.
