Canon cashback not recieved?

Hi,

i bought a Canon 40D from jessops at the end of last year and sent the cashback form early january together with receipt. i understand the cheque should have arrived by now (its been around 1 and a half months)? anyone ever had this problem? anywhere i can drop off an e-mail?

6-8 weeks from day of processing, and its always towrad the end. If they get it and it sits in a pile waiting to be processed for a month.......
Seriously I have had rebates take up to 90 days.

If it goes to the Irish 'clearing house' payment fulfillment company like it does for UK residents you should have a telephone number to call and cahse them up. I have done at least once before to get an update as to when the cheque would be sent.

See if that helps - incidently did you get the email confirming it was being processed? If so then Canon have an online method of checking the status.

hmmm actually i havent recieved anything from canon... any idea where i can access this online status check thing?

Hi

The online status is only good if you have had the email confirming they have the request in progress because they give you a code number to enter. Sometime the email step gest left out

When you completed the online form for the rebate and printed it out (you did print it didn't you???) there is I think on page 4 the phone number to call in Ireland. They will give you an up to date status and for the record sometimes they need that call to jolly them along.
