Hi guys, this is my first time shooting baseball and it was not easy. I had trouble controlling the exposure. I was using a Nikon D100 which I couldn't get to work because of it not having the aperture ring to its minimum aperture (a really irritating "feature"). Had to ask someone to google up the error to know what was going on.

Wasted a lot of time in this. Ended up using the 70-200 f/2.8 on the 30d (after the co-shooter left), and used my XTi + nifty 250. I am not at all happy with the shots I've got.

I have been reading through various threads here on POTN and I'm trying to get a grip on what makes a baseball shot "good".

I'll be shooting a lot more games and I will definitely try to improve. I need your feedback so I know what I'm doing wrong.

Thank you =)

Great job stopping the action! No motion blur at all, must have had very quick shutter speeds.
