I am going to the Pilippines in a few months and need some more cards.

I have been looking all over the web, but want to make sure I am not missing a great deal. I want 8 or 16 gig cards.

Anybody know of a good deal at the moment?

B&H has a mail in rebate for the 300x UDMA Lexar cards. The 8GB is something like $50 after rebate. Maybe worthwhile if you don't mind the wait.

That is what I am finding right now. The price is pretty even at the moment, That is why I thought I would check to see if anybody knows of any current deals.

Not sure exactly. It is near Manila somewhere. We are visiting my wifes family. They lived here in the US when my wife moved here, now they are retired back there, so she has never been to thier current house. She has not been back since she moved here. It will be almost 11 years when we go.

Sandisk is having a rebate promotion. I got 3 4GB Extreme III's for $35 total at Abes of Maine. The rebate is only for visa gift cards, but it's still a great deal. See here (external link). Also use the promo code "loyalty10" at Abes of Maine and get $10 of $75 or more.
