I still have my old EOS RebelX S and have often considered taking it alongside my Digital Rebel and doing an experimental shoot. Take the same shots at the same settings and same lenses and see which one produces the better final result. Alan

Unless you are doing the D&P yourself and are as proficient in the darkroom as you are with PS it would be a pointless comparison. Neil - © NHR Photography

But, I honestly think film will not be going anywhere anytime soon. 10 years from now you will still be able to get film just about anywhere.

This was not what I expected either but I like it. Great set-up. I don't know about 10 years from now but I do know that buying good film means a trip to the camera shop these days. And buying any flim other than 35mm is a trip to the camera shop. I don't shoot slides any more because of difficulty sharing. I also know I have about 10 rolls of film to shoot yet so the film cameras will have to stay in the bag for a while. I expect I'll soon write off the unexposed film as just too costly to process. I do like not having to change film every 36 shots and being able to adjust ISO on the fly is wonderful. Dave
