Lookin' good in B&W geno. Any way to darken the mountains?
I was thinking that but haven't had time. Will give it a go later in the day.

if it is staying---- or I am going to get another body (D700)
Hate to say it but if you're committed to Nikon, that'd be the way to go. We'd probably even still talk to you.

Geno-- you sure live in a beautiful place....... very jealous.
When the weather's nice there is no place more beautiful. It's the three straight months of rain that you have to get through though.

It looks very nice! I can't decide if I love or don't like that the upside of the "poles" line up with the horizon though. It would be interesting to hear what others think.
I actually did that on purpose!

Geno, I believe you posted that racking earlier, I remember an explanation about what the customer moves around with those.
Is it possible the B&W "lousy shot" (your words

) is suffering from diffraction at f/22? I'm not knocking the shot, but it almost looks like that's the case.
Oops on the double post... F/22 was an issue when I was there. Along with thinking about the wind blowing over my tripod I really had to consider the f/22 but decided I wanted the longer exposure. I only have 1 ND and the polarizer so...
I'm older than you think but I am wise.

Don't think I shared these yet (shoot me if I did...)
Today is the day to double post.
You never posted the green one before. I could look at that stuff all day. I really like glass work.
