5D CLASSIC admirers, assemble! (2)

Just acquired a 135L. Stoked...and that should complete my lens line-up, for a while. Now, I can't wait for it to arrive...but, eh, it'll get here, when it gets here. Just so happens that today is our 9th anniversary, too...since my wife and I met each other. I think it's a fitting present, for both of us.

Last year I met up with Cosworth and The Hoff for a walkabout but hadn't given any thought to the 420 people. We actually avoided it for most of the day. Some potheads aren't happy about having their picture taken even though they're pretty stoked about getting stoned in public.

oh ok .. lol ..

I was trying to mess with the actual development part in LR as all I was doing was shooting raw exporting them to CS4 sharpening a little of masking and out .. on these I didn't do anything in CS4 but sharpen and the colors came out of LR ..

for the ones I just posted I was getting hit because it was dark and over process but now I lighten up and didn't do any skin processing .. which one looks better guys?

Yeah the public stoners are a weird bunch. I tend to avoid that scene too - it doesn't even make for great shots because their hair tends to be so messy . That plus the smoke everywhere kills contrast.

However, having a barbecue outdoors on 420 might be the greatest thing ever.

Rikan, I think you did some nice processing on that second version -- to me it makes it more interesting.

Thanks Perry. Hopefully it'll serve my needs and works in the space I have alloted for it. Of course, I'll take it outdoors too...that's the point, right? Can't keep it caged up at home.

sounds like a plan man!! Thats all I need is to touch it....the pictures I see from that lens makes me want one bad enough.

thanks man .. I was wondering if I didnt let it to bright ..

I know people was telling about the loss of all blacks and detail in the dress so i wanted to bring it out .. I also left it bright and I think is a good exposure but I can be wrong because my laptop is funny ...
