Jay I have seen those before - but not the green one, as Manish said. They look really cool!

Sorry... :o

Between body threads, lens threads, comp threads and our own AZ thread, I can't keep it straight...

I've seen a ton of shots from this exhibit online....and that is the best shot I've seen out of any of them, bar none.

Really nice shot. :)

Thanks very much Brett. I entered that one and a couple more in a contest to win an AZ Highways workshop. (Fingers Crossed)

+1 That goes without saying. If you haven't already, click on his zenfolio and look at the shots of horseshoe bend. Jaw-dropping!

Glad you like that one. I made an 11x14 for my wife's office and she gets lots of comments on it. Hmmm, I owe you a signed version don't I? Gotta work on that one of these days. I've got a week off after this coming race weekend. I'll try to make that happen. Drop me a PM as a reminder would you please?

Here's one of my first shots with my 135L of a beautiful little Sceech Owl.
He's an education Owl and made for a great model.
Owls move with such slow motion precision. Wonderful little guy.

First is full frame, second is image cropped. It holds up pretty well.

Rikan, I think you did some nice processing on that second version -- to me it makes it more interesting.

Re: 135L:
Just be prepared when shooting up close & wide open that it really
has razor thin DOF, but that 's what makes it great.

Geno and Perrys' stash of greenery?

It's serious stuff! "Greenery" is the second largest contributor to British Columbia's GDP :p, a 7.5 billion dollar industry. When I get a chance, I'll walk around downtown and photograph some of the 'boutiques'.

Yeah I saw the 135L you scored in the fs/ft forum. I'm jealous. But I do have one for rent for 1 month. I know I'm going to have regret doing it...

I'll never be able to save up for that 200 f/2.0L IS... <sigh>

That's some serious $$'s, if it's true. Is it really legal throughout Canada?
