Makes a helluva portrait lens too btw...

Some feel it's maybe unflatteringly "too sharp"

I'd rather have to de-sharpen in post than the alternative.

Canon just returned my 5D and it seems like they did a fantastic job. I have only taken a couple shots so far, but the unresponsive buttons are now responding and they did the sub-mirror assembly fix. I now have a histogram to reference when I shoot!

The camera was also set to F22, so I imagine they made sure that the sensor was clean before sending it back. Canon Irvine FTW.

Yes, it seems to me that where ever you point a lens in this area of the world, results in a great picture!

Your white balance is probably being thrown off by the building lighting.

Geno:
I'm curious about that bird also.
I canvassed the internet and couldn't find anything that looked like it.
Could you post it in the "Birds" section and see if somebody over there could I.D. it?
I'm curious.
Thank you as always.

Well, let's get some info -- where was this taken Geno? A zoo or some kind of wildlife refuge or other special environment? I ask, 'cause of the stuff strapped to the tree branch, and also 'cause it does seem a bit exotic, but I'm trying to crack my birding book...
