Beautiful! That's a Zebra Finch, I think? (Sorry if the name has already been posted.) People keep them in cages here. A friend had a few and they even got babies. So you have wild ones where you live?

I have the 85 1.8 but don't use it as much as I should... Cracking lens, no doubt but I see a 135L in my future lineup...

Thats the original plan to get 135, but i guess more lens and some additional bees will benefit my style for now. In future will still get the 135

I have a thing for primes as well, I haven't owned any zooms for some time now. But I shot some racing in the weekend with the 100-400... Oh boy.

I've been using my 85 and 100 macro almost exclusively since I got the 5D in January. I used my tammy for one shoot recently. Hated it. The zooming is nice but I botched some shots not thinking of the wide angle distortion. Plus, I just like the crispiness of my primes. My mom is a hobby 'tog and used to work with primes a lot. She said I'd hate them. I want more.

I used to own the 135L but sold it to help fund the 5D. Miss it so bad!

Primes are where it's at...I'll say that much. I used to like zooms...now, I only have 2. 24-105 (the wife's go to lens), and the 17-40 (won't ever give it up).
