Nice shots, Soren. Wanna let me borrow the lens? I'll take good care of it. EDIT> the  was supposed to be  -- my apologies. ;)

Thanks Jon, appreciate the comments. ;)

Primes are where it's at...I'll say that much. I used to like zooms...now, I only have 2. 24-105 (the wife's go to lens), and the 17-40 (won't ever give it up).

Sure, tell you what: Next time you're vacationing in Denmark, you can have it for a week ;)

Thanks! Bright, sunny day, interposing the girl between the sun and myself. ISO of 100, aperture dialed down to f/22. Off-camera strobe (either an SB-28 or a 580 EX II - my memory is fuzzy here - set to about 1/4 power, with a Speedlight Prokit diffuser, and held by a helper with a boom) to light up her face.

How's that? :)

That sir, will do just fine :)

Love using the sun for shots. The manual controls leave a lot to be desired but you can't beat the power!

I feel like I'm crazy, Jon, but I swear I'm seeing a lot of noise in those for ISO 200. Beautiful either way!
