I haven't been here, long enough, to know or, or hear about, the old couple. What part of Florida...as there aren't many old, old timers here in Jax.

You've never heard of Snowbirds? All the oldies from Quebec and Ontario winter in Florida.

Jun 17, 2009 16:44 | #6820 Gud pm ladies and gents, im sitting at the classroom right now and it just came it to my mind. For those who have both lens 50 1.4 and 85 1.8 what lens is more perfect in terms of IQ using 5D. Any evidence is much appreciated(photos). Ben

I typically desaturate the purple channel a bit in Lightroom and it helps a lot, although if the contrast in the bordering color is high you may need to get more elaborate. But with your white bordering blue I wouldn't think it would be that bad, so play around with that technique. Desaturation brush makes it perfect though if you're pretty quick with a pen tablet. - Ryan, photographer/videographer

Is the butterfly a form of a hairstreak? lovely flowers, too. ![]() Gabe, sucks to hear, but, hopefully, it'll come back with 'all' the fixes, including the mirror fix. They do a pretty thorough job, on cleaning them...so, that's always a good thing. Hope the wait isn't too long. ![]() Ben...per Perry, the bokeh on the 50 1.4 isn't all that great...so, were I to choose, I'd go the route of the 85 1.8. Otherwise, Soren is going to let us borrow his 50L, when we all visit Denmark! ![]() Very nice to have that 50L. For the moment, since my 100 macro will arrive tomorrow, i will hold the trigger for 50 1.4 and we'll see how impressive this macro is.=) Ben
