Hey guys,

I'm not really new, I had an account a while back, but can't remember it LOL.

Either way, I've had the original 5d for almost a year now and its the best purchase I've made. Next to it, imho, the only camera that tops it is the 1ds Mk II

Here's a few photos I took with it:

A quick one of my girlfriends cat, Pearl.

5D + 50/1.8 is such a versatile combination.

Wow, stunning frame and color. I seem to remember you mentioning a need for motivation in another thread, and you have this in front of you? ;)

I'll go with ya, Soren. ;)

Geno...I'm not arguin' with Tiff. Lovely model, though. Let's see some more. ;)

Lostid...dude, you're makin' me miss the mountains. The largest 'hill' I've seen in Florida is a pile of dirt where there's construction being done.

Nice shots from the rest of the class. Keep 'em comin'. Welcome to all those I've not seen before. ;)

Here's one, with the 135L. Took me a while to work on this one...but, it is what it is. It's a one off...and I won't be processing anymore for a few days...as I have other work to finish up, first. So, you guys get the first installment. I won't even post it in the G&N section.

Another Tiffany. ;)

Thanks. Yeah, there is a period that you could just lose interest and become lazy. Anyway, this was taken this afternoon at the Pali Lookout (Oahu) when I was taking my son out for some fresh air. Most of the time this place is super windy, rainy and cloudy. So today wasn't bad.
