Hey guys,

I'm not really new, I had an account a while back, but can't remember it LOL.

Either way, I've had the original 5d for almost a year now and its the best purchase I've made. Next to it, imho, the only camera that tops it is the 1ds Mk II

Here's a few photos I took with it:

Ummm.....interesting idea. I think if you could eliminate the sparklies from the water it might be more powerful. And, that vignette is very distracting. Oh, and maybe a tighter crop. You've got a whole lot of nothing going on in that picture.

thanks tiffany! i was gonna crop, but after i darkened it, i found that it kinda gave the look that they were on top of a city, and the white vignette was trying to give it a dreamy look.

PS: I gotta stop usin' smilies. They're an addiction. grrr...

Eh, argue away.

Nice Tiffany shot. ;) I like the monochromatic feel (toning down the blue nails I think would enhance that.)

Gotcha. Makes a little more sense to me know. And, I'm kind of biased about vignettes....I don't really care for them so it makes it hard to be objective. ;)

Thanks...I was tryin' to figure out if I should leave 'em (as they were a really bright 'Jaguars' green), or tone 'em down. I'll see how they look even more desaturated. ;)

I don't have a clue...Not even sure what motor is under the 8-71 blower.

I believe it was running in the 8.90 sec. index class in the 1/4 mile.

Nice 'Vette!

OK, processed two of the photos and tried Tiff's suggestion of the liquify tool. How'd I do?

Does something look strange with this photo?

Geno:

#1 looks the same to me.

#2 her skin is lovely (fake I"m sure but lovely). Looks like you did a little smoothing on her eyebrows though. ;) And, her ear looks too smooth. And, you lost a little definition in her collarbone. And, maybe you might clone out where her hair shows up under her arm....kind of looks like she's growing a pit beard.

And she looks like she's squinting in a non-asian eye way ;)
