thanks tiff! yea, the stripes were her choice, i said a button-up shirt, and she brought a polo, but that is good advice! and ill bring her face up a bit, i noticed that too, its not that bad when you look at the big version in PS, but as soon as i uploaded it to flickr it seemed to bring the whole thing down a bit.

If you want a what to wear guide for seniors, let me know. I give mine out pre-session and emphasize NO STRIPES. They even make skinny girls look larger.:lol::lol:

You like her shoes too?

Although I'm not a foot freak, what's the point of sexy shoes if men don't like them?

Besides, the last three models I've posted, you've commented on their shoes. I'm keeping track! :)

Yes, I'd like a copy of your "What not to wear" sheet, please.

No need, I swiped them off your website.

Tiff, I have to say thank you for all the help that you have given me. Not only do you provide knowledgable and helpful critiques but you have supplied me with all kinds of documents that I would have no idea where to begin or how to put together.

Not to mention all the ideas!

Thanks for being on POTN.

I checked out your webbie, sevilla, and I love the extra tips and tricks you provide like 'what to wear' and all that. This really makes your webbie very 'friendly' and down to earth, nice! However, fix that "what to wear"button, lol! You made it a tad to small, it needs some extra coverage directly underneath it. Every time you go from that button to "wtw newborns" your dropdown just disappears... i need to make something like a figure skating manoeuvre with my mouse to reach it :p
And there's something funky going on when i mouse over "blogroll" too. :p

Certainly , call me Nitty McNitpick, mayor of Nitpickville, but i thought i'd just let you know, err...you know.

Week 4 and still no 5d in the mailbox. That 5d better return diamond-encrusted and with built in Tetris!

Lol...it's a work in progress. No one really knows it exists yet. I noticed the drop down issue too when I was posting my links. I think it's an issue with the WP theme I'm using. I'm pretty sure I know how to fix it when I get to that point.

Just dropped my 5D off at UPS for the mirror fix.
I 've got to say Canon Tech/Support was really great.
Should have sent it in 15 days ago with all the rain we've had.
If it keeps raining like it has, I should survive.

I have been away for a few days and now I'm waaay behind. There are lots of photos I would like to comment on, so I have bookmarked several pages and will try and do it soon, but for now I'll just be rude and post some of my own...

We have visited my fiancé's parents in Sweden and celebrated Midsummer. They live in one of the most traditional parts of the countries and lots of tourists go there to see the celebrations.

Midsummer is an old pagan holiday, which started as a fertility rite (the midsummer pole is the clear symbol...) to celebrate spring and to increase crops etc..

Here are some photos, all taken with 50L except the fourth that was with 24/2.8:

#1 The celebrations start with folk musicians arriving in old "church boats" (in the old days people on the countryside used to row to church in town with these boats):

#3 When they have arrived there is a parade to town center:

#4 The rising of the midsummer pole is the most important part of the celebrations. In this part of the country almost every little village have their own celebrations:

#6 Cute girls in local costumes. The yellow dress is for the really young girls and babies:

#7 Dancing around the pole after the rising:

#8 Then fun and games. It's mostly for the kids, but grownups enjoy it too:
