My concept. The poems and and their artwork is hers.

She had the poetry in frames and wanted to use them. I did another shot with them in the frames...my concept was to have her framed and represent poetry as well....like framing her emphasized that she herself was poetry.

Ok, I can see that...

Well thought out and executed.

Agreed with Jay. Nice shot...and I'm sure she's more than happy with it. ;)

Tammy 17-50 won't fit on a 5D, so the answer is obvious, Click.

Thanks Tiff. He was being a trooper, and actually came closer to investigate the giant black thing pointed at him.

Menelaus, nice shot of the cute gecko. Before I had my dslr camera, I used to go to a garden and shoot a lot of day geckos with a P&S camera. I love the geckos. When they hear the beep sound of your focusing on them, they just turn the head and look at you.

Here is a thread of my gecko shots with a Sony P&S camera.

Yeah it vignettes horribly. I tried it when I first got my 5D.

Beautiful shots everyone!

Here's a few from last night (which disappointed me light-wise, but I just had to go shoot with the 17-40L :D).

Thanks alot Manish, TheAztech, Matt, and CNP :D Got the 17-40L two days ago, and had my first walk with it yesterday.

Here's one from today. Went out with my little sister to the sea to see if the water had warmed itself since last time :)

Thanks Michael. :D

Mahalo Geno. :D

Here is imho an improved version. I cloned out the kayaks and other distractions so the focus is more on the lonely boat and the background mood. :D

this is beautiful... i would totally blow this up and hang it in my living room. lovely shot! :D
