I'm just purchased a 5D and I have a question. When you're changing Af points and ISO, is there no way to see it on the back LCD? The only way I see it is on the top LCD. I'm asking, because I used my rear LCD a lot on the 40D and got used to its layout. My 5D didn't come with any manuals, so I know you guys would know first hand.

Yeah, I saw that it's all done in the viewfinder. I'm so used to seeing everything visual on the 40D. 5D is a treat so far. Can't wait to get off work and really test it out.

I sort of did....flamenco is the spanish word for flamingo.

Also, it's a type of music/dance/culture.

Your red seems a little off or your ketchup has gone bad.

What's the difference between ketchup and catsup? Seriously, is there one? If not, why two different words?

Seeing all the great results from the Canon 17-40 lens, I could hardly wait to get that lens myself. Well, before the 5D body could even say "yes" one of my older cars, a '95 Nissan Quest, came mumbling something about a timing belt and a few other "small" but necessary items. I like the idea of having some sort of wide angle capability. I have a Sigma 10-20 that is great for my Rebel XSi. I don't do a lot wide ange work, but, sometimes it is so darn handy. I came across some good reviews on the little Tamron 17-35, saw that B&H had one for $299, and, bought it. Perhaps a Canon 17-40 is in the future, but, in the meantime I find the Tamron results acceptable. Anyway I have it, and, I suppose my next subject ought to be my MINI, making it look fierce!
Here is a shot taken earlier today...was able to get much of the vignetting out.
The images print up better than they display so that's a plus.
Joe
