Verse, I think you've got a slight front focusing problem with your lens, might want to send it into the shop.

Here's a couple more.

I'm loving the Sigma 105 on the 5D - one of the easiest lenses in terms of MF that I've ever used and very sharp with nice colors and bokeh....(I might sell my 100 f/2!). I should have picked up a copy of this a long time ago.

f/4....

f/2.8...(amazing sharpness)...

Don't know if I posted this here before but I put it in the "Caption This" thread. Belmondo came up with the winning caption and I thought it deserved recognition here.

Shot with the 5D and my current favoUrite landscape lens. :-)

My daughters christening was yesterday (her name is now officially Anna Sophia Bested Nielsen. Poor kid) and I snagged a few shots. I never, never get tired of the 5D & primes combo:

My wife's paternal grandfather having a smoke: (85L Mk II)

heres a question perry, what do you prefer, what goes out more, 1d mark 3 or 5d?
the reason i ask is because although i only really enjoy portraits i do love the speed of the 1 series and did think about getting one but as soon as i got my 5d i didn't care

I have both...and I love both for certain jobs....and I know you didn't ask me...but I feel like playing.

I tend to grab the MKIII for just about everything. I prefer the speed, the feel and the general files for everyday use. I grab the 5d for landscapes and portraits.....and when I want a downsided kit for walking around etc.....

I am blessed to have both cameras....love them both.

That was a good shot to put up there, and a great caption! I like that little contest -- it's the only one I've won on:)!

I'm not Perry, have never been Perry, and wouldn't want to pretend to be Perry:)!

That being said, here's now I approach it: I use the 5 for everything it's great for -- if I can fully frame a shot and if the high performance AF and speed of the 1DM3 is not important, I enjoy using the 5D for its qualities, including wider use of my lenses, and the fact it's more portable.

But as a whole, the 1D3 is arguably the best all-around body, because it can handle everything the 5D does and do a lot of things better than the 5D. So, if there is a possibility that I'll be shooting wildlife sports/action, be in inclement weather conditions, or need to do challenging low light shooting, I'll go with the 1D3.

I'm not perry but I own both...

I got my 1D Mark III in December and my 5D in January.

So far the 5D has seen a lot more action. I ungrip it and it's portable and easy to take anywhere and produces beautiful images. :)
