It's the weight, size, bulk and price and the fact that the AF speed seems to be stuck in "Molasses" speed. I have the dough but I just plain don't like the lens. Don't see much difference in the images between it and my 1.8. Sorry to say it, I'm sure it's a great lens but it's not for me.
