I'm a total photography bOOb, er, nOOb, but I think I'll pic up a 5D for my first DSLR.

Welcome to POTN and the 5D thread. You can't go wrong with the 5D.

Looked at the 2 photos you attached. Try to get focus on the eyes.

ok, I'm retarded. I tried to embed, copy and paste from flicker, but it still didn't work. Ideas? Thanks geno, I was overwhelmed with the fact that I was holding the highly regarded 5D!

Butch, her face looks a little OOF to me on the first shot.

Great shots. She is a beautiful model and I really like the pose. I'm not totally crazy about the dead space on the right side of the images, but her pose is awesome.

Thanks TaDa for your C&C... Anyone else would like to contribute?! Thanks in advance...

It's pretty simple and somewhere there's a tutorial on it.

Just go to your photo page, click on all sizes and copy the line that says"Grab the photos URL". Click on the little yellow envelope above where you enter the text and paste your URL into there.

Done.

Anyhoo, any C&C's would be greatly appreciated with the images below...

I'm far from an expert but they both look a little soft especially the second one. My crop on the second would be different than Peter's, I'd probably clip the left off a bit and put her further into the left part of the frame.

As far as the pose, I understand that a woman should be slightly angled to/from the camera.

This thread needs some photos....

Number three is very innovative. I like the concept. ;)
Perry, Just saw your last shot. Well done! :)
